AZUSA, Calif. --- UC Irvine's Rebecca Garcia improved on her No. 4 time in Anteater history in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Bryan Clay Invitational Thursday in Azusa.

She finished 14th overall with a time of 11:01.20 while Aliya Shah placed 38th in 11:37.78.

In the 5,000 meters, Megan Mirkhanian had UCI's best time of 18:11.48.  Pearl Law ran 18:25.10, Marthie Ponty 18:29.21 and Courtney Sharar 19:06.33.
