SANTA CRUZ, Calif. --- UC Irvine is in 13th place after Tuesday's second round of the 70th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club.
The Anteaters have a 36-hole total of 746 in the 6-count-5 scoring format. Stanford is in first at 692, Oregon is second at 695 and USC third at 698.
UCI senior Jacob Schulze shot a 1-under 69 Tuesday and is in 24th place at 142.
Sophomore David Kim is 60th at 148 after a 76 in the second round and sophomore Jonathan Young (77) is 66th at 150.
Junior Bryan Shin (79) is in 78th place at 155, redshirt freshman Chris Parkinson (75) is 84th at 158 and sophomore Johnny Hyun (86) is 90th at 162.
Oregon's Aaron Wise shot a 4-under 66 Tuesday and leads at 11-under 129.
The final round is scheduled for Wednesday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
