LAS CRUCES, Calif. – UC Irvine had its worst round of the season and fell to fourth place at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational Tuesday.
UCI shot a season-high 314 on second round at the New Mexico State Golf Course and have a two-day total of 607 (293-314). Host New Mexico State had the best round of the day and moved in to the lead with a score of 594 (295-299). South Dakota State is second (600) and UTEP is third (604).
Camille Wagg continued to lead UCI with a 36-hole total of 147 (70-77) and is tied for fourth place. Kaley In is tied for sixth at 149 (71-78), while Breanne Jones is tied for 22nd with a score of 156 (75-81) and Samantha Chan (77-81) and Avery French (80-78) are tied for 28th after each posting a 158. Competing as an individual, Sabrina Li is tied for 37th with a score of 161 (78-83).
The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow.
