IRVINE, Calif. -- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, UC Irvine Athletics will host "Think Pink" games in the month of October.
The event starts Saturday (Oct. 22) as the women's volleyball team takes on UC Riverside at 7:00 p.m. at the Bren Events Center then women's soccer battles UC Santa Barbara Sunday (Oct. 23) at 2:00 p.m. at Anteater Stadium. Men's soccer rounds out the action on Oct. 26 when they host UC Riverside at 7:00 p.m. at Anteater Stadium.
Think Pink bracelets will be available at each game for a minimum $1 donation and all proceeds will be donated to the UC Irvine Breast Health Center.
The UC Irvine Breast Health Center is one of only 20 accredited breast centers in California dedicated to the comprehensive care, multidisciplinary team approach to coordinating the best treatment options, and patient access to ongoing information about clinic trials and new treatment options.
