SEATTLE, Wash. --- UC Irvine opened action Friday on day one of the UW Invitational at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle.
Senior Paige Bushnell finished third in her section of the 200 meters with a time of 26.53 seconds.
UCI's distance medley of Lauren Hall, Simone Buchanan, Hallie Pullum and Marisa Gonzalez placed 13th overall in 12:37.74.
The second, and final day of competition, is Saturday with the first running event at 9:30 a.m. and field events beginning at 10:00 a.m.
