The Anteater tennis lineup's depth was prevalent over the past few years often with more quality players than positions. Cassidy Branstine has had to bide her time playing her role when called upon. Her numbers at UC Irvine don't jump out at you, but she does carry plenty of experience from her time at Utah State.

"Coach has told me to trust myself and relax," which was something that came into play vs. Grand Canyon with UCI needing a point late. Branstine played her game and delivered a straight set win setting her on a path for a breakout junior campaign.
