Davis, Calif. -- Freshman Camille Wagg posted a career-best finish to lead UC Irvine to seventh place at the Big West Championships which concluded Tuesday at the El Macero Country Club.
The Anteaters finished with a three-round total of 926 (313-301-312). UC Davis won the conference title with a score of 858.
Wagg recorded a career-best 10th place finish after carding a 54-hole total of 224 (75-72-77), including a career best 72 on the second round. In her previous four collegiate tournaments, Wagg finished no higher than 42nd.
Freshman Kelsey Kawaguchi placed 27th with a score of 234 (76-80-78), while sophomores Kaley In (84-72-80) and Samantha Chan (78-81-77) were tied for 30th at 236. Junior Kristin Henno finished in 37th place with a score of 242 (84-77-81).
