IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine registered several personal-best showings during the Anteater 4-Way Meet Saturday in the team's home opener.
UCI hosted Long Beach State, Army and Cerritos College in the meet at Anteater Stadium.
Lloyd Sicard won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.01 seconds, tying his No. 3 mark in UCI history from last year.
Cameron Vaca placed first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.58, a personal record for him.
Blake Wanser claimed another individual victory for the 'Eaters, winning the 3,000 meters in 8:50.92.
The 4x400 relay of Vaca, Sicard, Duane Solomon and Brandon Howard also finished first with a time of 3:14.74.
Alex Tebbe placed second in the 1500 meters (3:55.87) and Howard was third in the 400 meters (50.02) as was Izzak Mireles in the 3,000 meters (8:56.56).
In field events, Matt Dispenza placed second in the long jump at 20-9 and the high jump at 6-6 ¾.
Mason Miller was third in the shot put with a mark of 56-4 ¾.
UCI hosts the Spring Break Invitational Friday and Saturday at Anteater Stadium.
