IRVINE, Calif. --- Six members of the UC Irvine men's water polo program have earned 2014 All-Academic Awards from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Pablo Carballo, Ty Hack, Brock Ivancovich, Lovre Milos, Larson Pfeil and Alan Robertson were recognized in the Excellent Category.

This is the third straight year that Robertson has earned national all-academic recognition from the ACWPC and second for Carballo.

The awards' breakdown for cumulative grade-point averages is 3.71 to 4.00 for Outstanding, 3.41 to 3.70 for Superior and 3.20 to 3.40 for Excellent.

UCI head coach Marc Hunt has had 50 of his student-athletes earn national All-Academic recognition by the ACWPC over the past 10 years.
