IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine flipped the script taking down UC Davis, 4-3, despite dropping the doubles point Monday afternoon in Anteater Tennis Stadium.

UC Davis (3-6, 1-2) outlasted the 'Eaters in doubles clinching the point with a tiebreaker win at No. 1.

The Anteaters (5-2, 1-0) stormed back winning five of the six opening sets in singles, much like Saturday's match. Sweeps from Kat Facey, Ali Facey, and Arisha Ladhani put the 'Eaters in a good position up, 3-2, before Sarah Gong shut the door with a 7-6, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles to clinch the match.

UCI ventures to the big island next for matches against Hawai'i-Pacific (Friday, Feb. 20) and Hawai'i (Saturday, Feb. 21) this week.
