IRVINE, Calif. --- UCI's three-match win streak came to a halt Saturday afternoon at the hands of San Francisco, 4-3, at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

The Anteaters (4-2) rolled through doubles with a sweep clinched by Kat and Ali Facey, 9-7.

Singles started in UC Irvine's favor after it won five of six opening sets. Sarah Gong was the lone exception who would fall in straight sets to No. 51 Andrea Ka. Kat Facey would pick her up at No 3 singles by upending No. 114 Marina Nikolic also in straight sets.

The Dons (4-2) would rally to take the three points they needed coming back in Nos. 2, 4, and 5 singles to win the point in three sets and grab the win.

The 'Eaters will get a chance to rebound on Monday when they open up conference play by hosting UC Davis at 11:00 a.m.
