SIMI VALLEY, Calif. --- Sophomore David Kim shot UC Irvine's low score of the day in the final round of the Bill Cullum Invitational at Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley Tuesday.
Kim fired a 3-under par 69 and finished 58th in the tournament with a 54-hole total of 225.
UCI freshman Jefferson Kao shot a 76 in the final round and placed 43rd at 222. Ramiz Jamal, another Anteater freshman, had a 77 Tuesday to finish 70th at 228.
Senior Jacob Schulze (74) and sophomore Jonathan Young (81) tied for 72nd place at 229.
Junior Bryan Shin, competing individually, shot an 81 Tuesday and also placed 72nd with a three-round score of 229.
Fidel Concepcion of Southern Utah was medalist at 9-under 207.
UCI finished 15th in the tourney with a total of 892. Loyola Marymount was team champion at 842, Pepperdine was second at 847 and Santa Clara third at 852.
The 'Eaters return to action Oct. 29-31 in the Pacific Invitational at the Stockton Golf & Country Club.
