The Anteaters will participate in the Aggie Invitational Monday-Wednesday (Oct. 5-7) at the New Mexico State Golf Course.
Teams will play 18 holes each day, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The course is par 72 and 6,358 yards.
Kristin Henno, Samantha Chan, Kelsey Kawaguchi, Camille Wagg and Breanne Jones will comprise the UC Irvine lineup.
The tournament field includes Boise State, Idaho, UTEP, Nevada, University of Texas, Pan America, Portland State, North Texas, UVU, NAU, BYU, Iowa and host New Mexico State.
In 2008, UCI won the Price's Give 'em Five Invitational on the New Mexico State golf course.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
For the second consecutive tournament, the sophomore class has carried the Anteaters. Breanne Jones paced the squad with a 21st place finish after carding a 230 (78-73-79). Her 73 on the second round matched her season-best and was the best round by an Anteater at the tournament.
Sophomores Kelsey Kawaguchi (77-79-76) and Camille Wagg (75-79-78) were tied for 33rd with a score of 232.
Jones and Kawaguchi lead the squad with a 77.0 scoring average.
