LA JOLLA, Calif. --- Twelve different UC Irvine players scored as the eighth-ranked Anteaters cruised past La Verne, 25-8, at the Triton Invitational in La Jolla Sunday.
Lovre Milos led the way with seven goals and he scored a total of 23 in the four weekend victories.

The 'Eaters (4-0) posted 10 goals in the first quarter and led 12-4 at halftime. UCI outscored the Leopards, 13-4, in the second half.
"It was a good finish to the tournament for us," Anteaters' head coach Marc Hunt said. "It gave us an opportunity to see our young guys play.
"I liked our results against the Western Water Polo Association teams. We need to continue maturing as a team and working on our chemistry.
"We are looking for good growth next weekend as we had back east to take on top Collegiate Water Polo Association teams," Hunt said.
