San Luis Obispo, Calif. -- Freshman Kaley In finished seventh at the Big West Championships which concluded Tuesday at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
It was In's career-best performance and the second top 10 finish of her career as she posted a three-day score of 225 (74-76-75). In carded 10 birdies over the 54 holes and was tied for the tournament lead in that category.
Senior Ronnie Valerio finished in a tie for 13th with a score of 231 (80-72-79), while senior Sara Banke was 17th at 233 (77-76-80) and senior Taryn Yee was 21st at 236 (74-82-80). Freshman Samantha Chan placed tied for 33rd with a three-round total of 245 (81-86-78).
The Anteaters placed fourth with a score of 923 (305-306-312). UC Davis captured the team title (895), while Cal State Fullerton's Martina Edberg won the individual crown (217).
