Anteaters Sit In Eighth Place At Rainbow Wahine Invitational

Schofield Barracks, O'ahu, HI -- UC Irvine sits in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.

With rain coming down most of the second round, UCI posted a 614 (301-313) after 36 holes. Vanderbilt is the only team under par, shooting a 574 (288-286), 19 strokes ahead of second place Boise State (593).

The Anteaters recorded 117 pars Wednesday, second only to the Commodores.

A trio of Anteaters are in the top 25 with freshman Joo Youn Seo in 21st with a score of 152 (74-78) and sophomores Kaley In (74-79) and Samantha Chan (75-78) tied for 24th place. Junior Kristin Henno is 41st at 156 (78-78), while freshman Kelsey Kawaguchi is 66th with a score of163 (84-79).

The tournament concludes with 18 holes Wednesday.
