SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- Sarah Gong shone in her fall debut capturing the singles consolation championship of the ITA West Regionals in San Diego, Calif.

Despite dropping her opening match, Gong recovered to win her final five matches including sweeping through No. 13 Michaela Cappanolo of Pepperdine and taking down teammates Arisha Ladhani in the quarterfinals.

Elsewhere, Kat Facey took three singles matches over the weekend while Mazy Watrous was the lone 'Eater to win her initial match, and followed that up with a win over No. 15 Ebba Unden of LBSU.
