Kaley In Posts Second Consecutive Top 20 Finish At Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

Austin, Texas -- Sophomore Kaley In recorded her second consecutive top 20 finish at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational which concluded Tuesday at the University of Texas Golf Club.

In carded a one over-par 73 on the final round and ended with a 54-hole score of 228 (71-84-73) in 19th place. In recorded 37 Pars which was third best among tournament participants.

The Anteaters shot a 314 Tuesday, its best round of the tournament but could not make up any ground as the Anteaters finished 15th with a three-day score of 976 (318-344-314), 81 shots behind team champion UNLV (895). Baylor's Hayley Davis earned medalist honors with a score of 214 (65-75-74).

Freshman Joo Youn Seo was 69th at 247 (81-85-81), while junior Kristin Henno had an eight shot improvement  on the final round and finished in a tie for 73rd with a total of 253 (85-88-80). Rounding out the lineup was freshman Kelsey Kawaguchi in 77th place (89-87-80-256) and sophomore Samantha Chan who tied for 78th (81-93-83-257).

The Anteaters will conclude the fall schedule traveling to the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Oct. 21-23 at the Leilehua Golf Club.
