Austin, Texas -- UC Irvine is in 15th place after the first round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational held at the University of Texas Golf Club.
The Anteaters shot a first round score of 318, while tournament leader UNLV fired a 284.
Sophmore Kaley In is tied for 10th place after carding a one-under par 71 on the first 18 holes. Sophomore Samantha Chan and frehman Joo Youn Seo are tied for 67th with a score of 81, while junior Kristin Hennoi is tied for 78th (85) and freshman Kelsey Kawaguchi is in 81st place (89).
The tournament continues with 18 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday.
