Sara Banke Leads UC Irvine After Two Rounds Of Minnesota Invitational

Minneapolis, MINN -- The UC Irvine women's golf team is in 12thplace after Monday's opening two rounds of the Minnesota Invitational at Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, Minn.

The Anteaters carded a 36-hole total of 649. Illinois leads the field with a two-round total of 603, followed by host Minnesota and Illinois (608) entering Tuesday's final round.

Jennifer Ha of Kent State (76-71) holds the individual lead at 3-over par 147.

UCI senior Sara Banke is in 37thplace at 159 (80-79). Junior Michelle Yang is in 42nd position with a score of 161 (79-82) and sophomore Luciane Lee is in 48thplace at 163 (80-83). Freshman Samantha Chan and senior Ronnie Valerio each shot rounds of 79-88 and are tied for 54that 167.
