WALNUT, Calif. --- Sophomore Paige Bushnell recorded the No. 8 time in UC Irvine history in the 400-meter hurdles at the 55th annual Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut Friday.
Bushnell won her section in 61.17 and finished 21st of 42 total competitors in the event at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. Freshman Kaulyn Lee-McNeill placed third in the section with a time of 61.33 and just missed cracking UCI's all-time Top 10 list.
Lauren Hackney finished second in her section of the 400 meters with a time of 57.59.
Sakia Sailinuu placed fourth in her section of the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:13.40 and Marie Brashears posted a time of 2:26.22.
UCI competes in the Beach Invitational at Cerritos College Saturday.
