UC Irvine freshman Luciane Lee finished in second place to pace the Anteaters at the Fresno State Lexus Classic held at the Copper River Country Club Tuesday.
Lee shot a 54-hole score of 215 (70-71-74) and led the Anteaters with a personal best second place finish. Long Beach State's Simone Hoey earned medalist honors (211).
UCI finished fourth with a three round total of 903 (301-300-302). Long Beach State captured the title (892) followed by Tulsa (893) and San Jose State (896).
UCI senior Michelle Park finished in a tie for 22nd(227-75-73-79), while junior Sara Banke was tied for 29th (229-78-76-75), sophomore Brenna Carlson was tied for 45th (233-78-80-75) and junior Ronnie Valerio was tied for 64th (240-80-82-78).
The Anteaters will compete for a Big West Championship April 21-23 at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
