FRESNO, Calif. --- UC Irvine junior Allan Jun shot a 6-under total of 138 in Monday's two rounds of the Fresno State Lexus Classic at Belmont Country Club.
Jun fired a 5-under par 67 in the first round and followed with a 1-under 71 as he is currently in fifth place at 138. Michael Kim of California is the individual leader at 11-under 133 (68-65).
Anteater sophomore Pete Fernandez is in ninth place as he also opened with a 67 and followed with a 74 in the second round to sit at 3-under 141.
Travis Russell is in 42nd place at 146 (75-71), Michael Yang is 75th at 150 (74-76), Mickey Chan is 90th at 153 (77-76) and Jacob Schulze is 100th at 157 (78-79).
UCI is in 11th place at 728 in the 17-team tournament. California leads at 694, Fresno State is second at 716 and Arizona is in third at 718.
The final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
