IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine alumna, Whitney Pavlik (2004-05) and partner, Jenny Kropp, have captured three straight national tournaments after winning the Chicago Open with 20-22, 21-19, 15-13 decision over Priscilla Lima and Tyra Turner in the final last weekend.

Pavlik and Kropp, who won the Florida and Belmar Opens, head into the Hermosa Beach Open this weekend (July 20-22) as the No. 1 ranked national team and third-ranked internationally.

The Hermosa Beach Open includes 32 men's and 32 women's main draw teams, vying for a $100,000 purse and will be filmed for NBC Sports Network with select matches streamed live online.
