WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine seniors Charles Jock and Jacob Yowell each had a fifth-place finish at the 54th annual Mt. SAC Relays Saturday.
Jock, a two-time All-American, finished fifth in the Invitational Elite 800 meters with a time of 1:47.15 at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut. It was his first 800 race of the season. Duane Solomon from Saucony won the race in 1:46.03.
Yowell was fifth in the Olympic Development Elite 110-meter hurdles in 14.19. Wichita State's Todd McKown was first in 13.69.
