WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine senior Jacob Yowell finished seventh overall of 42 competitors in the 400-meter hurdles at the Mt. SAC Relays Friday.
Yowell recorded a season-best time of 51.71 at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut.
UCI's Trevor Wightman placed 32nd in 54.75.
The Anteaters' 4x100 relay of Mike Kennedy, Chris Carson, Dominic Jester and Yowell finished ninth with a time of 41.41.
Action continues at Mt. SAC Saturday and UCI will also have competitors in the Beach Invitational at Cerritos College.
