WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine freshman Riley Martin placed third in his section of the 1500 meters on opening day of the 54th annual Mt. SAC Relays.
Martin had a time of 3:52.90 Thursday at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut.
Anteater senior Brennen Halliday finished 25th overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:48.68.
Action continues at the Mt. SAC Relays through Saturday and UCI will also have competitors in the Beach Invitational at Cerritos College Saturday.
