IRVINE, Calif. --- The Anteaters earned a Big West Player of the Week for the second consecutive week in Christian Hernandez (Palmdale / Taft College).

For Hernandez, this is his second consecutive award as well as he was named Big West Offensive Player of the Week last week, and now once again this week after scoring twice against Drake in their 2-1 victory.

Hernandez's goal turned out to be the game-winner, his third of the season. He leads the 'Eaters and the Big West in that category along with goals, shots, and shots on goal. He fired 15 shots over the weekend with seven of them on target.

He and the No. 10 Anteaters are now 4-0 on the season and hit the road to take on Big Ten school, Wisconsin (Sept. 9, 5:30 p.m.), and Horizon League foe, Illinois-Chicago (Sept. 11, 12:00 p.m.).
