IRVINE, Calif. --- After two great days of tennis, UC Irvine had a tough day against UCSB players winning just three of nine matches.

Fabian Matthews and Ryan Cheung took their doubles match, 8-3, over Scott/Recknagel of UCSB.

Sam Gould/Jon Kazarian and Shuhei Shibahara/Jacob Jung were not as successful each falling 8-4 in their doubles matches.

Matthews and Kazarian were the only singles to pull out victories on the afternoon with Matthews doing it in straight sets.

The 'Eaters are back in action beginning Oct. 20th as the ITA Regionals start up and go through the 24th.
