Final Results
CLAREMONT, Calif. --- Junior Nicole Mendoza was the top finisher for UC Irvine in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational at the Pomona College course Saturday.
Mendoza placed 49th of 200 runners with a time of 23:34.4 over 6,000 meters. Mary Follo was 56th in 23:49.3 and Lauren Hall 60th in 23:57.3.
UCI's Jewelz Andrews finished 66th in 24:04.1, Gabbi White was 82nd (24:22.9), Carolin Haney 98th (24:44.9), and Chelsea Schneider 101st (24:47.6) to complete the Anteaters' top seven.
Annie Lydens of Pomona-Pitzer finished first in the race with a time of 21:03.9.
UCI finished 10th of 15 teams with 257 points as Cal State San Marcos won the title with 24 points.
