NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – UC Irvine won the first two sets but could not hold off CSUN in a five set loss (25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 25-27, 10-15) at the Premier Credit Union Arena Thursday.
Four Anteaters had double-digit kills led by outside hitter
Kendra Duffey's career and match-high 20 kills. She had three aces and her second double-double of the season with 13 digs.

Madison Triplett had a career and match-high 23 digs to lead all players.

>A kill and two UCI attack errors gave CSUN the 6-3 lead
>Another UCI attack error and a Matador kill extended the margin to 8-4
>A kill by Hansen and an ace by Duffey kept it close, 10-13
>Two kills, the last a dig that fell to the ground on UCI's side ended the match, 15-10
