DAVIS, Calif. – It took five sets to determine the Big West opener as UC Davis out-lasted UC Irvine, 3-2 (25-15, 24-26, 13-25, 25-15, 15-10) at The Pavilion Tuesday night.
The Aggies (9-5, 1-0) out-blocked UCI (3-10, 0-1) and held a 10-7 ace advantage.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
