Placed 30th overall at the Pepperdine Invitational, running 17:08.7 over 4,000 meters. Also ran 19:56.8 at the Mustang Challenge.


Placed 58th at the Big West Conference Championships, running a time of 23:22.3 over 6,000 meters. Also competed at the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships. Ran a season-best time of 19:09.79 over 5,000 meters to place 66th at the Mustang Challenge. Also ran 19:24.0 at the UCR Highlander Invitational and 19:24.67 at the UC Irvine Invitational.

Graduated in 2015 and competed in cross country and track. Was a Junior Olympics All-American. She was captain for two years in cross country during her three years on varsity. She also earned the Most Improved and Coach’s Award during her three years on varsity.

Major is anthropology. Parents are Veronica Moreno and Juan Mendoza. Has three siblings, Isaic, Jayden, and Sophia.
