Ran a season-best time of 22:41.7 over 6,000 meters at the UC Riverside Invitational. Also ran 19:17.7 over 5,000 meters to place 47th at the Highlander Invitational and 16:04.3 over 4,000 meters to place 11th at the Pepperdine Invitational.


Graduated in 2016 and competed in cross country and track and field, earning four varsity letters in track and two in cross country. Individually, she earned All-League and All-CIF recognition. Her cross country team placed first at league championships, first at CIF championships, and second at state finals. She was named the Most Improved Runner in 2015 and 2016, earned the Buckaroo Award in 2012, and the UT Award in 2015 and 2016. She was also the Best Buddies president, which was a club designated for working with special education kids and integrating them into high school.


Major is education. Parents are Kim and Kirk Boyd. Has two siblings, Garret and Griffin.
