Keston Hiura Wrangles In Sixth All-American Award

IRVINE, Calif. --- Keston Hiura sets the new standard for the UC Irvine baseball program with his sixth All-American honor of the season.

The American Baseball Coaches Assocation released their teams Saturday morning with Keston Hiura once again landing on the First Team as a designated hitter. This honor joins others from NCBWA, Baseball American, D1Baseball.com, College Sports Madness, and Perfect Game/Rawlings.

Hiura finished the season as the Big West's Field Player of the Year as he led the conference in hits, doubles, and his entire slashline. He finished with a .442 average and .567 on-base percentage to lead the NCAA.

Three Big West players dotted the ABCA All-American squad with Hiura as the only member on the First Team.
